- Kevin Bacon will play Sebastian Shaw, the villain in X-Men: First Class. Confirmed cast includes James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Alice Eve (Emma Frost), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Caleb Landry Jones (Banshee) and Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique). Director Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass) will start shooting soon for a June 3, 2011 release.
