Here’s some movie news you may have missed :

  • Producer Neal Moretz talks about his new Highlander movie. He says it will be “closer to a reboot than anything else”. He says that while there are certain things that conflict with each other in the various film and TV versions of Highlander, they will still be “trying to stay true to the core” of what they believe Highlander is.
  • Ryan Reynolds joins RIPD, based on the graphic novel about two cops, one recently dead and a gunslinger who’s been dead for hundreds of years that work on the Rest in Peace Department – the police department of the dead.
  • The new movie Resident Evil: Afterlife is filmed in 3-D using the same cameras that were used in Avatar, and not that terrible post-production stuf that is being passed off as 3-D. Find more details and the trailer at Sci-Fi Wire
  • Tron 3 has already been confirmed… before Tron Legacy even hits theaters.
  • Christopher Nolan alks about his new movie Inception, a story about a “dream thief” staring Leonardo DiCaprio.
