Embedded below is the new trailer for the upcoming movie Solomon Kane. Solomon Kane is another mythical hero created by Robert E. Howard, most famous for his Conan stories. Like Conan, Solomon Kane was featured in several short stories published in the pulp magazine Weird Tales. Kane is a 16th Century Puritan who wanders the earth fighting evil with a rapier, a dagger, and a couple of flintlock pistols.
It looks like a pretty cool movie, but it may not be coming to a theater near you anytime soon… unless you live in Russia or the Netherlands. At this point, there seems to be no U.S. distributor for the movie. If you live in Russia look for it December 31, 2009. In the Netherlands the release date is set for January 14, 2010.
