Zzub - The Backward Buzz - News You May Have Missed
For the second post in our Behind The Scenes series we’ll be looking at The Avengers.
The Avengers have been filming in Cleveland, OH and in New York this summer. We’ll kick it off with some of the Cleveland footage. The first scene shows Captain America and Thor fighting side by side. As you scroll down the page there are several videos and there are some still shots at the bottom. While you’re at SuperheroHype you may want to watch some of the “related videos” that are presented after each video ends. Some of these related videos show more awesome behind the scenes footage of The Avengers.
SuperheroHype always has some great behind the scenes photos. Check out these 2 galleries of photos from The Avengers New York shoot…here and here.
Here are some still shots of Chris Evans as Captain America in The Avengers. Scroll to the bottom to see a picture of something that could be a Skrull weapon!
And here are a few shots of Hawkeye and Black Widow in action.
That’s it for now. Stay tuned for part 3 of this series: Behind The Scenes : The Amazing Spiderman.
If you missed the 1st post in the series, you can read it here: Behind the Scenes : The Dark Knight Rises.
Zzub - The Backward Buzz - News You May Have Missed
This is the first in a series of posts that will highlight behind the scenes photos and footage of some huge movies being filmed this summer. I can’t remember a time when there was so much behind the scenes video being made. There’s enough video out there to piece together a lot of the plot details for some of next summer’s biggest blockbuster movies. I’m not going to attempt to do that here. This collection of behind the scenes videos is just about the awesome magic of movie-making, so just watch and enjoy, and we’ll worry about plot details later. (Be aware that you may have to watch a commercial before some of these videos).
First up is the third and final installment in the Chris Nolan Batman trilogy: “The Dark Knight Rises”. Pittsburgh, PA is playing Gotham City this time around.
We’ll start off with a rather dull little clip, (you can skip this one is you want), of a desert-camo version of the Batmobile “tumbler” rolling slowly up a snowy street as Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s character strolls nonchalantly across the street as it passes, with a gas can in his hand. Joseph Gordon-Levitt scene.
Now it gets a little more exciting. The next clip shows a tumbler being blown up. There appears to be more than one tumbler. Tumbler explosion video.
The new “Batwing” has been getting quite a bit of exposure lately. You can see videos of this elaborate vehicle rig in videos here, and here. And if you want to watch a clip of the Batwing having a real-life crash, you can see that here.
Here’s a photo of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman on the batcycle. The other shots on that page feature Hathaway’s stunt double. And you can see a video of this scene and another expensive accident on the set as the batcycle crashes into an imax camera.
The previous scene seems to be related to this scene of Batman fighting Bane in the middle of a riot.
I’ll be back soon with the second part of this series. Next up is “Behind The Scenes : The Avengers”.
