- Carol Ferris, long-time love interest of Hal Jordan (Green Lantern), sometimes also known as the supervillian Star Sapphire.
- Abin Sur, an alien who recruited Hal Jordon into the Green Lantern Corps.
- Dr. Hector Hammond, all around bad guy who eventually exposes himself to the radiation from a meteorite and gains a superior intellect, telepathy, mind control, and telekinesis.
