The first official Iron Man 2 trailer is now available for viewing online.

The trailer includes Tony Stark reveling in his new found fame as Iron Man while Ivan Vanko builds stuff in a Russian prison and curses the Stark name. Later, Ivan, as Whiplash, slices off the front of his Tony’s race car with one of his laser whips and generally wreaks havoc on the racetrack. Then we see a little bit of Black Widow action, a scene in which a flying Iron Man is pursued by some sort of tentacled flying things, and finally Iron Man fighting side-by-side with War Machine against a horde of what looks like Iron Man Mark I “weapons”.  Looks like Favreau has done it again.

UPDATE 2 :  A poster featuring Whiplash, the main villain in Iron Man 2.

All three of the 60 second TV spots for the new movie can now be seen online at Yahoo Movies

The clips reveal some of the backstory of the wolverine character. The third clip, titled “Legends”, previews some great action sequences and shows us a glimpse of the other members of the “special team”.
